Start with the exact input
For VALORANT, first identify the platform and input method. PC and console controller assumptions should not be mixed. Build a record of the supported controls for the version you use before considering any extra mapping layer.
What to record before changing settings
| Check | Write down | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Platform and input | Write down PC or console and the intended supported control method. | A guide for another platform may describe controls you do not have. |
| Aim behavior | Record the current aim, focus and ADS behavior shown by the game. | These can be separate actions, rather than one generic aim button. |
| Abilities and movement | List ability, walk, crouch and interaction bindings. | An input sequence may collide with a character-specific action. |
A useful first comparison
- Use the publisher’s current instructions for your platform and establish normal movement and camera input first. Do not assume an adapter makes an unsupported input permitted.
- In an available practice environment, test aim modes individually with the same weapon. Keep sensitivity and response settings unchanged.
- Check ability inputs for the character you selected. A working fire input is not proof that a combined profile handles every ability or movement state.
When to repeat the check
A character, layout or platform change is a reason to repeat the input map. Read Riot’s current device and competitive rules before using additional hardware; this reference does not claim approval or detection avoidance.
Check the current game and platform rules for your setup. A controller connection and permission to use additional input hardware are separate questions.
Documentation and next steps
Use VALORANT official information for the current game documentation and the Cronus hardware guide for the device connection. This article does not claim a current GamePack exists for every platform or game edition.
Ozark ERA is an NBA 2K27 product. The other game articles are general controller references; they do not extend ERA support to those games.
