ERA V6 / MOVEMENT

Custom Dribbles in Ozark ERA V6

Set ERA V6 Custom Dribbles for four D-pad directions. Find the submenu, assign each move, trigger it in gameplay and check conflicting inputs.

The trigger is the D-pad. Choose MOVEMENT → DRIBBLE → CUSTOM, press Cross / A, assign a move to each direction, then hold that D-pad direction in gameplay.

Open the Custom Dribble submenu

  1. Hold L2 + Options on PlayStation, or LT + Menu on Xbox, to open the Zen menu. Release L2 / LT after opening it so navigation and editing are available.
  2. Choose MOVEMENT with D-pad Left / Right, enter with Cross / A, then browse to the named setting.
  3. Use D-pad Up / Down to change the setting. The checked V6 saves these device choices; a changed My Ozark profile still needs its normal installation step.
  1. At DRIBBLE, select CUSTOM. Press Cross / A to enter the four-direction submenu.
  2. Use D-pad Left / Right to choose UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT. Use D-pad Up / Down to cycle that direction’s move.
  3. Press Circle / B to leave the custom submenu. Close the main menu with the opening chord before trying the gameplay trigger.

The four pages assign moves to gameplay D-pad directions. They do not turn right-stick Up / Down / Left / Right into the trigger. Edits to these custom choices save on the device in the checked source.

Assign one move to each direction

Start with one direction assigned and the other three OFF. All four OFF means there is no custom dribble sequence to run even though DRIBBLE still displays CUSTOM. A move name identifies an input pattern, not an in-game animation guarantee.

Hold the assigned D-pad direction

With the menu closed, hold the direction you assigned. The selected sequence can repeat while you keep holding it. Release the direction to stop its active dribble combinations before trying another action.

Press one direction at a time during setup. The source chooses a single direction owner; a diagonal press is not a reliable way to ask for two moves. Its priority is Up, then Right, then Down, then Left.

The held direction is consumed while the macro runs. If you expected that same D-pad press to open a game menu or perform a normal contextual action, disable the custom assignment before comparing the native action.

Why a correct assignment may still wait

  • Shooting, Quickstop and other active input owners can stop or block a custom dribble sequence. Begin from idle.
  • BUTTON LOCK and native shooting input guards can take priority. Isolate the dribble before combining it with shooting.
  • L2 / LT input creates a short guard against dribbling into a trigger-held action. Release the trigger and let the current action finish before retrying.
  • Use one D-pad direction and keep the other directional buttons released.

Do not change several shooting timers to fix a dribble that never starts. First confirm the trigger, CUSTOM mode, a non-OFF assignment and the absence of a competing input.

Build a repeatable first test

  1. Note the current DRIBBLE choice and custom assignments. Choose one direction and one move, with the other directions OFF.
  2. Enter the game with a normal controllable baseline. Close the Zen menu and release both triggers.
  3. Hold the chosen D-pad direction briefly, observe the requested movement, then release it fully. Compare the same input again.
  4. Only add a second assignment once the first trigger is clear. Check the same movement from the same player state.

If a later generated profile replaces the device settings, recheck the active slot and custom assignments. See the V6 reference scope for the source edition documented here.
